Engineering services & test facilities

Design at Michell is supported by ProEngineer CAD systems , finite element analysis, and a suite of in-house developed bearing performance prediction software. Eminent industry specialists and learned institutions are used to complement company knowledge and development.

With more than 80 years accumulated knowledge and practical experience of hydrodynamic bearing applications the Michell technical team can diagnose any bearing related problem and provide a solution. This service, as with the rest of Michell's outstanding technical back-up support, is prompt and responsive to customers' needs on a world-wide basis.

Michell continually invests in programmes of testing and on-site monitoring to substantiate the theoretical prediction thus adding a greater degree of reliability to the performance of a Michell designed bearing.

Michell Bearings in-house test rig equipment
