The role

As a Design Technician, you will support the design team in the day-to-day running of the office, including design work on current products, providing technical support to external sales staff and taking ownership of the company New Engineering Request (NER) process. After training, you will be responsible for dealing with new internal product requests, product bill of material (BOM) changes, system development projects and assisting in answering technical queries, including creating customer drawings.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in cost reduction initiatives, supply chain optimisation, and ensuring the uninterrupted availability of essential materials and services.
